Projects and cooperation

Since its establishment, scientific activity of the Department of Toxicology has been realized through a large number of projects financed by the competent Ministry, as well as through bilateral cooperation projects with the Republic of Slovenia and Republic of Croatia. 

Teachers and associates of the Department are involved in the national project “Decoding the role of exposome in endocrine health” - DecodExpo, Promis program funded by the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia (contract for science), Research and development project within international cooperation with the People's Republic of China “Improving anti-cancer immunotherapy efficacy of CAR-T cells or PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors by combining immune modulators – ACIMod2, funded by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia (451-03-1203/2021-09); international COST project (CA20121) “Bench to bedside transition for pharmacological regulation of NRF2 in noncommunicable diseases” - BenBedPhar, funded by the European Commission , a program of academic chairs within the European University Alliance Circle U co-financed by the Erasmus + program of the EU and the international CEEPUS program “Training and research in environmental chemistry and toxicology” (CIII-SI-0905-08-2122) funded under the Central European Exchange Program for University Studies.

Until December 31, 2019, teachers and associates were involved in national project (III46009, III41018) funded by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia. During 2021, they participated in the implementation of the project "Vaccines from A to Z" funded by the Center for the Promotion of Science, as well as the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia within the project "Urgent response of the Republic of Serbia on COVID-19". 

During 2021, teachers and associates implemented the project of the Ministry of Health in the field of public health "Informed mother – healthy baby, how to live safely with chemicals?", carried out by the Serbian Society of Toxicology.
