Aleksandra Kovačević (maiden name Vidojević) was born on May 17, 1991. in Brus. Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Belgrade, study program: Pharmacy, enrolled in the school year 2010/11 and graduated in 2015 with an average grade of 9.76. During her studies, she won numerous scholarships and awards. She enrolled in doctoral academic studies at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Belgrade, module: Pharmacology, in the 2015/16 school year. She passed the professional exam for graduate pharmacists in 2016.

She participates in the preparation and implementation of practical classes on the subjects of the Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Belgrade (Pharmacology 1, Pharmacology 2, Pharmacology 3, Pharmacotherapy, Pharmacotherapy in Pediatrics (accredited program in 2013) and Pharmacology 1, Pharmacology 2 - 2019), in Serbian and English). He also participates in the preparation and implementation of workshops within the academic specialization Pharmacotherapy in pharmaceutical practice. She was a commentator on a student research paper. She was elected assistant in 2019.

Aleksandra is currently engaged in 3 international and national projects managed by/whose work packages are managed by prof. Miroslav Savić, PhD. The main area of ​​research of Aleksandra is behavioral pharmacology and preclinical characterization of newly synthesized substances selective for certain subtypes of benzodiazepine binding site at GABAA receptors. So far, she has co-authored 2 papers in international journals, 1 paper in a national journal and 3 papers at international and domestic conferences. She won two first prizes for the best poster presentation - at the 7th Congress of the Serbian Society of Neuroscience with International Participation (2017) and at the 7th Congress of Serbian Pharmacists with International Participation (2018).

Since 2021, she has been a member of the Council of the IV year, as well as the Commission for the implementation of student professional practice at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Belgrade.
