Dišić Darija, M. pharm.

Darija Dišić was born in 2000 in Vršac, where she finished elementary school "Vuk Karadžić" as a student of the generation. In 2015, she enrolled in the "Chemical and Medical School Vršac", majoring in pharmaceutical technician, which she graduated in 2019 as a holder of the diploma "Vuk Karadžić". She began her studies at the Faculty of Pharmacy in Belgrade in 2019 and graduated in 2024 with an average grade of 9.06/10. After defending her final thesis entitled "Isolation and chemical characterization of hesperidin from the pericarp of sweet orange fruit (Citrus × sinensis (L.) Osbeck, Rutaceae)", which she prepared at the Department of Pharmacognosy under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Zoran Maksimović, she obtained a Master of Pharmacy degree. During her studies, she participated in the preparation of a scientific research paper under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Zoran Maksimović from the Department of Pharmacognosy and Dr. Đorđe Medarević, senior research associate from the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Cosmetology, entitled "Isolation, chemical characterization and application possibilities of rutin and hesperidin from waste plant material". She presented this paper at the XVII Mini Congress of Students of the Faculty of Pharmacy and the 63rd Congress of Students of Biomedical Sciences of the Republic of Serbia. After completing her studies, she completed an internship at the Pharmacy Institution "Oaza Zdravlja" and passed the professional exam for Masters of Pharmacy. In October 2024, she enrolled in doctoral academic studies in Pharmaceutical Sciences, module Pharmacognosy. She has been employed as a Junior Research Assistantat the Department of Pharmacognosy since February 2024. Foreign language: English (B2).
